The Parkinson's Dance Class

This dance class, originally designed for people in the Parkinson's community, is open to anyone seeking lifelong comfort and ease in their body movements. Discover your creativity in motion. All abilities and fitness levels are welcome. Options include dancing in a chair, standing and moving across the floor. Sherwood Temkin 3rd Grade Boys Winter Madness

Sun 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
This league focuses on skill development, teamwork and most of all fun! These are instruction leagues with modified rules. League is set up wtih first 2 weeks of program as practices and last 8 weeks with game play. The league will use appropriate rim heights and balls to ensure that all athletes get the most out of their experience. Participants will receive on-court instruction from our officials in a game setting as well as team t-shirts. The JCC will randomly assign teams and volunteer will help teach the participants. All games and practices will be 50 minutes in length and be held at the JCC Marcus Gym or the MJDS Field House. Join us for Winter Madness and score big on fun. Leagues will be chosen after everyone has signed up and the practice times will change based on the leagues.

Youth Strength Training March

Members only. The JCC's Youth Strength Training program is for members ages 12-14 who are interested in learning how to use the cardio and strength machines under the knowledge and guidance of one of our nationally certified personal trainers. After completion of this three part course, participants will be able to use the fitness center on their own. Learn the basics of a workout and the benefits of exercise. Youth under the age of 14 must take this class in order to use the fitness facility. If these times are not convenient for you, then schedule a one-on-one session with one of our personal trainers.
