Kids Center hours:
Monday through Thursday 3:00-6:00 pm Friday 3:00-5:30 pm (2:00-5:30 pm during the winter months)
It should be Kids Center at the J After-School Care & Enrichment for K5-6th grade.

We understand the changing needs of families in today’s world. You can’t always be home for your children after school, but you can still feel good about sending them to Kids Center at the J. You’ll know they’re in a safe, fun, supervised environment; they’ll feel like they’re going to a friends house.
From the moment they arrive, your children are welcomed with open arms by our well-trained, caring and protective staff. Each child becomes part of our family too and is made to feel special. There’s always something to do with a wide range of age appropriate activities. Sure there’s play time, but there’s also an option to have one of our qualified staff members supervise your children as they complete their homework assignments.
Homework Room:
Wouldn’t it be nice if your child could complete his or her homework while you’re at work, so that you can relax together at home? The homework room provides a quiet place for kids to do just that. A teacher provides supervision, lends a hand and tutors children with any schoolwork needs.
We also offer a variety of specialized enrichment classes.
The J offers a wide variety of great classes and activities available to your children. Many Kids Center participants are eligible to enjoy these for free or at a nominal fee. Sample offerings: Swimming lessons, Danceworks, Science with Discovery World, Cooking Fun, JCC Art Center, Temkin Children’s Playhouse, Fitness, After-school sports.
Afternoon At A Glance:
3:00-4:00 pm Arrival, snack, quiet games and activities
4:00-5:00 pm Organized activity of the day, after-school classes, homework room
5:00-6:00 pm Choice of recreational activities, pick up
Fridays: 4:00-5:00 pm Kids Center Free Swim 5:00-5:30 pm Shabbat Celebration
About the Staff
You won’t find a more caring, harder working, and dedicated staff than the group here at the J’s Kids Center. We ensure a creative, fun, and safe environment where you child can grow. Our Lead Teachers are adults with years of child care training, and all additional staff have been trained to work with boys and girls in a recreational environment. In fact, many were camp counselors at JCC Rainbow Day Camp and Camp Interlaken JCC.
