I have been with the J for 25 years and we are now the best we have ever been, from facilities to programs. The last 25 years I have been in several capacities including Aquatics Director, Fitness Director, Group Exercise Director and Day Camp Director. I have been the Director of Health, Recreation & Fitness for the past 11 years. My degree is in Exercise & Fitness from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, certified Group Fitness Instructor through ACE (American Council on Exercise) and a certified Stott Pilates Intensive Matwork and Reformer Instructor. My philosophy of fitness and well-being is “moderation” and “FUN”– everything should be enjoyed in life, but in moderation including exercise and nutrition. We all need to continue to move in whatever way works best for us personally, we need to take care of ourselves in terms of health and well-being – exercise, eat well and find a mode of relaxation that works for you.

In my personal life, I am the mother of two wonderful daughters, Nikki who is a junior at UW-Milwaukee and Jamie who is a junior in high school. I enjoy life withmy husband, Doug by staying active by cycling, walking and being outdoors (I enjoy spending time up north at my cabin) as well as decorating my home.
