The J takes great interest in getting our new members on the right track to success – success in reaching your fitness goals, helping you to make exercise a habit instead of a chore and making you part of our wellness family here at the J. To help you get started and learn more about what the JCC’s Health, Recreation & Fitness department has to offer you, every new member is invited to a New Member Seminar. These seminars will be offered throughout the month on different days and times to meet your personal time needs. Each seminar begins with a quick health/fitness assessment that requires some exercise and then a tour of our fitness facilities and an introduction to all of our fitness programs available to you. Please ask our membership staff or the Fitness Coordinator for dates and times. Then to get you started on your own personalized workout, one which you will see results from; every new member will receive 4 Free ½ hour Personal Orientation Trainings with one of our nationally certified personal trainers. Your trainings will consist of a review of your health/fitness assessment, an introduction to our cardio machines, our strength training machines as well as start you on your own personalized workout plan. Over the next 4 weeks, we will get you on the right path to success!
