Flip through any J program guide in any season and you'll discover an almost unimaginable array of social, educational and cultural activities designed for children and youth. Better yet, come tour the J. Visit our child care centers, our summer day camps, our overnight camps, and our winter camps, too. If you could witness first-hand the pleasure and excitement these kids experience, you would realize how heartbreaking it is to know that not every family can afford these enriching opportunities. That is why we have KidShare. It's a precious reflection of the J's basic premise: that no one shall be denied access to our programming because they lack the resources to participate. Since its inception, KidShare has raised over a million dollars to help underwrite scholarships for those who need our support. And if you ask any of our staff members they will tell you that the need today has never been greater. KidShare is the preeminent culinary event of the year. It brings together dozens of committee volunteers, chairs and co-charis, with scores of the areas leading chefs and catering people, all of whom contribute their time and talents to make this a successful event.
