The RMR Test will provide a measurement of your daily caloric needs. This is done through a simple 12 minute evaluation of your breathing. The test results will show if your individual metabolism is at or below the norms for your age, height, and weight. The test results will also give you your personal weight loss and maintenance zone so you'll know exactly how many calories per day you should be eating.
The VO2 Max Test will measure not only VO2 max but determine your anaerobic threshold. This is an exercise test that can be performed on the piece of equipment that you prefer. The test is performed by slowly increasing the difficulty of the exercise until the machine senses you are well past your anaerobic threshold. This is not a maximum effort test unless you so choose. The results will give you your VO2 Max or the maximum volume of oxygen your body can consume. It will also tell you your anaerobic threshold or the pont at which your body is using energy without oxygen ( which can't be maintained for long periods of time). This number will be a heart rate, and the results will have four target heart rate zones and how many calories you will burn in each zone. So the results will not only show your fitness level but give you a plan to help imporve your fitness level.
