Bus transportation from North Shore Schools is available Monday-Friday to transport children to the JCC for after school classes.
Children who are attending 4:00 pm classes may be transported to the JCC for a fee of $5 per ride or escorted from MJDS or Hillel for $3 per walk. The total fee is determined by the number of class weeks. Children will be escorted to classes. Parents are responsible for picking up their children when the class ends.
Children who are attending classes that begin after 4:00pm must enroll in Kids Center. These children will be appropriately supervised, given a snack, dressed as needed, and brought to their classes and then returned to Kids Center.*
Bus service for after school classes is based on available space. Transportation is available from the following schools:
Atwater, Bayside, Cumberland, MJDS, Hillel, Glen Hills, Indian Hill, Lake Bluff, Maple Dale,
Parkway, Richards, Stormonth, Holy Family, St. Monica
* Children age 9 and up are allowed in the JCC unsupervised. Parents of children who attend a class that begins after 4:00 pm have the choice of enrolling in class transportation and allowing their children to attend class without supervision or enroll in Kids Center.
Children in grades K5-2 who attend a class that begins after 4:00 pm and need class transportation must enroll in Kids Center.
