STARS (Students That Are Really Special), is a JCC new program that will integrate children with diverse abilities in first through eighth grade with other mainstream students at the JCC.

Children will be grouped according to age, and will participate in fun activities that focus on the development of fine and gross motor skills.

"The goal is to make all children feel welcome and strive to meet their own individual potential," said Jody Margolis, the JCC's new Special Needs Coordinator and creator of the program.

The next STARS program is Sunday, May 6th from 2:45 - 4:30 PM at the JCC. The program will be staffed by highly experienced teachers, staff and community volunteers.

Pre-registration is suggested. The cost is $10 for JCC members and $15 for non-members.
