A New Home For Gan Ami Mequon

June 16, 2017

Gan Ami Early Childhood Education has been guiding families on their Jewish journeys for more than 25 years in Mequon. As we bring to a close the 4th year in the current location on Donges Bay Road, the Gan Ami school family looks forward with excitement to the next step on this path.

When the doors open for the 2017-18 school year this fall, Gan Ami-Mequon will be doing so in a beautiful new home at 10813 N. Port Washington Road (across from Stein’s Garden Center) as a part of the loving gift of Fred & Linda Wein.

The current building has been filled with warmth and love, but it has had its challenges. This new and permanent home will allow the school to grow and flourish in the way in which has always been envisioned - expansive outdoor play spaces, large classrooms, and a community room for all-school gatherings and celebrations with families.

Monday, June 26, there will be an Open House at the new school from 5:00-7:00pm. This will be the first opportunity for current families, prospective families, and the community to see why this new building was chosen as the future of Gan Ami Early Childhood Education in Mequon. After this Open House, prospective families can schedule a private tour with our Gan Ami leadership team.

With the purchase of this new space, the JCC will further strengthen our commitment to quality early childhood education in Mequon. The relationship we have had with this community has always been an important part of the JCC’s mission. The new Fred and Linda Wein Center for Gan Ami Early Childhood Education on Port Washington Road will allow this relationship to continue to flourish for years to come.
