JCC Members, Partners, and Friends,

March 11, 2020 – Over the past month, there has been no shortage of attention, coverage, or concern as our community prepares for the potential advancement of coronavirus (COVID-19). Without minimizing the impact of this virus in affected communities, nor unnecessarily amplifying its risk in our own, the volume of this concern has reached such a level that we wanted to offer this reminder on the JCC’s readiness to respond and support.

As a community center, providing a safe and inclusive gathering space is among our primary goals – and we’re uniquely prepared and trained to ensure that experience even in challenging environments. We remain committed to keeping JCC programs and services open and accessible to the entire community, unless circumstances dictate otherwise, and will depend on the support of our community to meet that goal and minimize any service interruptions.

With that in mind, recognizing that now is the right time for us to add to the commentary with relevant information, we’re pleased to share with you more about our policies and procedures – existing or new. We’re confident that, when we work together and openly communicate, we can ensure a JCC that remains healthy, vibrant, and open for everyone to enjoy.
