Pantry Volunteers Needed
The Jewish Community Pantry is looking for volunteers to help pack bags of food, stock shelves, and load boxes of food in cars at our drive-through Pantry where we serve families in zip codes 53210 and 53216, and anyone else experiencing a food emergency.
Do you have a couple of hours to spare to help feed families in need? Join us!
Thursdays – drive-thru service day
Some indoor but mostly outdoor options
Shift 1: 7:45 AM – 10:00 AM
Shift 2: 10:00 AM – 12:15PM
For Thursdays, we will invite up to 15 volunteers per week who will be working mostly outside. Volunteers are required to bring and wear a face mask. Pantry operations allow for physical distancing at all times, and we provide hand sanitizing stations. The facility is cleaned and disinfected before each volunteer experience. Our staff will also be wearing face coverings and there will be little contact with clients who are asked to remain in their cars.
In order to provide a safe environment for volunteers, staff and clients, we welcome volunteers who:
- have not experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath) or tested positive in the past 5 days
- have not encountered anyone who tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 5 days
Complete the form below to volunteer or contact Mona Cohen with questions.
