Creating Community Through Art

Tarbut Movement Art Workshops
Location: Daniel M. Soref Community Hall at the JCC
This March, we are thrilled to welcome two talented artists from the Tarbut Movement to Milwaukee! Join us for workshops led by Sahar Silverman and Nahal Shalom Sulami, both of who bring a passion for art, education, and social change. The Tarbut Movement is a social initiative focused on developing Israel’s cultural landscape and strengthening communities through art.
From March 3rd-6th, Sahar and Nahal will lead art workshops for both children and adults. Together, we’ll create Community Created Art that will be displayed at the JCC and incorporated into future Yamim programs.
Workshop Schedule:
- Monday, 3/3 at 10:00 AM – Workshop for Adults
- Wednesday, 3/5 at 4:45 PM – Children’s Workshop for PJ Library (for ages 5 +)
- Thursday, 3/6 at 6:30 PM – Workshop for Adults
