About the Settlement Cookbook: The Settlement Cookbook took traditional European and Jewish dishes and made them more American and modern. Immigrants found they could preserve their culture while still becoming uniquely American. Chef Michael will take us through a modern and fresh take on a selection of recipes featured in the cookbook as we create delicious food that is both modern, American, and traditional.
