The JCC is excited to partner with Les Mills International to invest in our free group exercise classes for members. Mixing the hottest music with cutting-edge exercise science, motivation, and the energy of many, these group fitness classes offer our instructors the tools to make you fall in love with fitness all over again.
“This investment in our free group exercise program is just another way that we are offering consistently excellent programming to our members. Partnering with Les Mills allows us to keep our workouts fresh and exciting with consistent releases of new music, new choreography, and opportunities to stay on top of fitness trends,” explains JCC Fitness Director, Katie Nickel.
Les Mills Bodypump, Bodycombat, and Sprint were added to our already diverse and popular group exercise schedule.
- Bodypump (55 min) gives you a total body workout using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition and great music.
- Bodycombat (55 min) is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that will help you release stress, have a blast, and feel like a champ.
- Sprint (30 min) is a High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results.
“Throughout fall 2019, Les Mills professionals certified our instructors through 20 hours of in-person training. Our team has found the Les Mills coaching to be invaluable to our group exercise instructors, and they are so excited to pass along that positive energy to our members,” Nickel adds.
