JCC Group Fitness is an important component of the JCC membership experience. With a wide variety of offerings, for members of all skills, this array of classes is a complimentary benet to all members of the JCC. Led by highly experienced trainers and professionals — and ranging from high-intensity cardio, strength building, water-based training, and mind-body — you’re sure to find the right class for your interests and to meet your goals.

In addition to highly trained professionals in the group fitness field, our instructors are knowledgeable, friendly and motivating! Try Zumba, the hot Latin dance-based workout that is hugely popular nationwide or take a shot at The Beast, Boot Camp, Power Up, Step and Sculpt, Kick Boxing or Yoga. User warning: group exercise classes are highly addictive and may become habit forming!

Prefer to make a splash when you work out? The JCC offers a series of FREE group water fitness classes throughout the day and on weekends. Suit up and jump into our low chlorine, comfortably regulated, ozone filtration pool that is always monitored by a trained, Red Cross certified lifeguard.

Traffic Light System

In our continued efforts to meet our members where they are, the JCC Group exercise program uses theTraffic Light System as a monitoring and communication tool for our group fitness classes.  This tool helps to ensure we are meeting our goal to provide group fitness classes that are new, exciting and which meet our member’s fitness’ needs. We use this system to monitor our program usage and to facilitate group fitness program changes when necessary.
