What do Pump it Up, Stonefire Pizza Co, Skateland, Country Springs Water park and Xtreme Tramploline all have in common? Find out during the Big Chill 2012, the JCC's Winter Break Programming for Children ages K4 - 6th grade.

If you haven’t already experienced any of our vacation day activities, these options are great ways to connect with children’s programming at the JCC.

The intent of these activities is to provide a fun, safe, social experience for your children when they are not in school.   Our staff is comprised of camp counselors and Kids Center teachers that your children already know and love.  We are proud that many of them have been connected with the JCC for years.  Whether you are a working parent, your child wants to spend time with their camp or JCC friends, or, you are simply looking for fun ways to keep your child active and entertained during their days off from school, these are opportunities are not to be missed!

The Big Chill Program is an extension of our School’s Out Vacation Days. which do a really nice job of integrating fun field trips outside of the JCC, but also take advantage of the amazing resources we have right here in our building.   For example on any given day your child might swim in the pool, make projects in the Art Studio, cook a delicious Kosher snack in the kid’s kitchen and play sports in both the Marcus and Family Gyms.  As if that weren’t enough fun, we also show movies on the big screen, bounce in the bounce houses, do karaoke and often go sledding on the hills of the JCC. Throw in some hot chocolate and you have yourself a fantastic day!

Interested?  There is still time to sign your child up, and I hope that your child will join the many who already take advantage of these great programs.  The Big Chill begins December 24 and runs through January 2.  It encompasses all of the North Shore public school’s winter break days.
