The 4th annual Father Daughter Dance is coming!

January 29, 2013

By Sarah Ruiz & Rabbi Shari Shamah

On February 9th, Dads and Daughters will once again pack the JCC to celebrate each other.  The 4th annual Father Daughter Dance is almost here!  We are so excited for this year’s festivities.  Wondering what the night is like?

It begins with dads and daughters entering the building and strolling down the red carpet where their picture is taken together.  Moms, don’t worry – you’ll still get to experience the magic as they can take their picture home to share with you!

Once you’ve been photographed enter the Daniel M. Soref Community Hall which has been transformed into a daddy-daughter haven.  Dance with music from A-Z DJs, do a mitzvah project (good deed) to benefit Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, complete an activity card together and enjoy our famous chocolate fountain.

At the end of the night there are great raffle prizes, souvenirs to take home and fond memories of fathers and daughters enjoying each other’s company.  This dance has become something that dads look forward to all throughout the year.

“It was an amazing magical night that we’ll remember for years to come.”

“You have given us memories to treasure for a lifetime.”

“This was better than some weddings we have been to.”
