Yoga 4 Golfers

Six years ago, my passion for yoga and golf began.  My husband encouraged me to learn the game of golf, and I immediately fell in love with it.  I loved playing with family and friends, being out in nature and experiencing all the complexities golf offers.   

Yoga on the other hand, that was a different story.  I have been a fitness enthusiast all my life, but have mostly been into running and cardio activities.  Yoga seemed so foreign and I had little interest. 

However, soon after I started playing golf, I tried my first yoga class and the transformation from “cardio girl” to “yoga enthusiast” took place.

In 2011, after learning about Katherine Robert’s Yoga 4 Golfers Certification Program, founded Yoga 4 Golfers Wisconsin.  I was drawn to the concept of incorporating yoga and golf, my two passions, into an innovative mind and body golf conditioning method.

What is the goal of Yoga 4 Golfers Wisconsin?  The goal is to help golfers shoot lower scores by incorporating yoga and related fitness techniques into their practice regime.  By applying a golf-centric approach to traditional yoga methods – flexibility training, core conditioning, breathing awareness and concentration – golfers can achieve more power, consistency, strength and focus in their game.  I have customized a unique yoga program that directly correlates to a golfer’s training needs.

What types of benefits will Yoga 4 Golfer students experience?

This program is designed by golfers for golfers and is for people who have always wanted to do yoga but have been reluctant to go to a traditional yoga class.  This program is perfect for both men and women of all fitness levels who want to experience the benefits of yoga  in a golf-centric environment.
