The Milwaukee Jewish Film Festival: Five Nights of Film

October 9, 2013

By Ronna Bromberg Pachefsky & Cindy Benjamin, Co-Chairs of the Milwaukee Jewish Film Festival

After seven months consuming popcorn, drinking ice tea and movie previewing, the Milwaukee Jewish Film Festival committee is pleased and proud to present five fantastic films to our faithful (and growing) audience.

This year’s films range from a “Spaghetti Western” with romantic Mizrachi music, to a beautiful film adaptation of a novel based on a real life Dutch story, to a young French woman obsessed with Woody Allen. Plus, don’t miss a film version of one of bestselling Israeli author David Grossman’s novels starring Isabella Rossellini, or the nostalgic homage to the by-gone era of Catskill summers—and the training ground for a generation of comedians. Click here for full descriptions of each film.

Every year we say we’re excited about the films but this year we’re REALLY excited. Each film gets unanimous thumbs up.
