Milwaukee Jewish Film Festival Announces 2014 Lineup

September 4, 2014

The Milwaukee Jewish Film Festival, a program of the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center and supported by Marcus Theaters, has announced its lineup for the 2014 Festival. Opening Sunday, October 19th, and closing Thursday, October 23rd, the Milwaukee Jewish Film Festival will feature seven unique screenings at the Marcus North Shore Cinema.

“The festival committee has outdone itself in building a program that showcases Jewish life, artistry, and storytelling, “ said JCC Executive Director Mark Shapiro. “Every year, the Festival grows in quality and support – and 2014 will be no different.”

New for the 2014 Festival is “An Evening With David Zucker: Filmmaker, Funny Man, Mensch.” Zucker, a Milwaukee native and Hollywood legend, will be on hand for an intimate evening of stories, conversation, and viewings of his favorite film moments. The Festival has also expanded its matinee offerings, and will feature screenings on both Monday and Wednesday afternoons.
