Explore the world without leaving Milwaukee

Great ideas, robust dialogue, and – yes – sometime vigorous debate. The world around us is complex, diverse, and ever-changing.

To meet those needs, advance our community, and reflect the entire spectrum of those we serve – the JCC is committed to opening its doors wide for new voices and experiences.

From political dialogues to discussions on the Israel – past, present, and future – the JCC Tapestry program offers an array of regularly scheduled classes, special events, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. In partnership with experts – local, national, and international – we provoke new concepts, challenge stereotypes, and build stronger communities.

Authors, pundits, politicians, and more. The JCC remains a home for open dialogue affecting Jewish life here, in Israel, and throughout the world.

Winter Jewish Education Courses

Exploring Innovation: Year 2020
What is innovation? How is it reflected in Jewish history and Jewish culture? When do we as artists and as Jews innovate and look forward? When do we preserve and celebrate the past and look backwards? This mini course will examine the topic of innovation through a Jewish and an artistic prism. This is the theme of this year’s exhibit and will help spark ideas for the exhibit.
Dates: Dec 16, 2019 - Feb 17, 2020
Days of the week: Mon
Times: 07:00pm - 08:30pm
