About the Season

Explore the history of Jewish cuisine and its cultural impact through a cooking class with Chef Michael Solovey and the Jewish Museum Milwaukee, and a lecture that examines the influential relationship between Chinese restaurateurs and the Jewish community in 20th century Chicago. Acknowledge the collective strength of the Jewish community with performances of The Children of Willesden Lane and Angels in America. Delve into the arts with Back to the Sources, where we’ll examine Jews in the arts and discuss influences present in today’s films. Look ahead to the future as we prepare to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Milwaukee Jewish Film Festival, amazing new author events, and trips to cutting-edge museums.

Expand Your Horizons

From fitness to film, our programs are designed with one goal in mind: to create community through shared experiences, personal discovery, and joy. Whatever your age or interest, the J has programming that brings people together.

Stay Active

From equipment to amenities, we put a lot of thought into creating the best possible fitness experience for our members
