In addition to 4 sessions of fun in our traditional day camp program, we offer special weeks of fun that you can add on to your summer. Begin and end your summer with specialty camps at RDC and the JCC, get a taste of overnight camp with a visit to Eagle River, or explore your creativity with a special week for our friends who are differently abled.
RDC Specialty Week • June 12-16
for campers entering K5-5th Grade
Kickstart your summer with a week of specialty camp offerings!
Taste the Rainbow: Campers will be the first to try new activities and learn about all the fun camp has to offer.
Soccer: Campers will focus on the basics of soccer through fun drills, games, and expert coaching.
Nature: Campers will explore all that our 110-acre campsite has to offer and learn to appreciate the natural world around them.
Arts & Crafts: Campers will explore different projects and create their own masterpieces with the use of different mediums and creativity.
Theater: Campers will part of a mini theater production and experience set design, costume design, and elements of performing.

End Your Day at the JCC
4:30-6:00 PM (5:30 Fridays) at the JCC in Whitefish Bay • $40 per week
Register your child for Kids Center After Camp Care at the JCC.
Trip to Interlaken • July 10-14
for campers entering 3rd-5th Grade
Offering a Taste of Interlaken, this program is perfect for campers who want to experience a mini-version of sleepaway camp. Campers will spend 4 days – 3 nights in Northern Wisconsin at the JCC’s overnight camp in Eagle River, Steve & Shari Sadek Family Camp Interlaken JCC, where they will participate in camp activities like sports, waterfront, adventure, and arts. The campers will love their nights filled with exciting evening programs, campfires, and special events. This shortened stay creates a bridge for day campers to experience Camp Interlaken. Play Hard Hoops Basketball
Led by Coach David Adelman, the “Hoops Education” formula for success was built on teaching basketball fundamentals and team-oriented play. Play Hard Hoops creates a positive atmosphere that allows participants to communicate, play competitively, learn, and most importantly have fun. “Hoops Educa-tion” can be defined by five words: Enthusiasm, Team-work, Attitude, Character and Gratitude.
Solar Recreation Soccer Clinic
Join Michelle Tipton and the Solar Recreation Staff for a week of skill development and fun!
Pink Umbrella Theater Company
The mission of Pink Umbrella Theater Co. is to promote and provide theater that is accessible and inclusive for people who identify with a physical, intellectual, or emotional disability.
DanceWorks
Danceworks is a local nonprofit with a mission of enhancing joy, health, and creativity by engaging the community through dance. Their instructors are experienced professional dancers who have the knowledge necessary to teach varying ages and ability levels.

Shiluv Optional Add-on for campers entering 6th grade & older
Upstream Arts provides programming for youth and adults with mild to severe cognitive, developmental, and physical disabilities.In this one-week specialty camp, campers develop interactive social skills and strengthen communication using play, dance, theater, music, visual arts and poetry.
