Impact
Our impact is best understood by talking to those we serve; our members, guests, volunteers, staff, and partners. We feed the hungry at the Jewish Community Pantry. We educate the future through Gan Ami Early Childhood Education, Kids Center After School, and through ongoing adult and Jewish education. We build community through day and overnight camping, in the arts, and over the dinner table. We engage all generations, all backgrounds, and all abilities. We learn to swim, learn to walk (and then run), and we learn to treat one another with the respect everyone deserves.
We do that best by working with exceptional partners. Sometimes that’s our own skilled staff, volunteers, and board members. Sometimes it’s working with the United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County, the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, or First Stage. Sometimes it’s as simple as having a conversation with a member, and understanding how we can work together to accomplish a shared goal.
Our impact? You tell us. Maybe it’s getting ready for that first 5K, or for your pre-schooler’s first year in K5. Everyone can have a J story, and we’re looking forward to helping you write yours.
