Food Justice & Inclusion
This project was developed in collaboration with Public Allies Milwaukee, the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center & Tikkun Ha-Ir. The video series and resource hub project serves to deepen volunteers of Tikkun Ha-Ir’s Veggie Chop Shop & the JCC’s Jewish Community Pantry’s understanding of the impact of their direct service, and encourages healthy workplace culture & inclusive practices.
Video Series
Our aim in developing a video series is to give volunteers a deeper understanding of the impact of their service through food justice education, as well as to gain an understanding of the clients that are served. In addition, volunteers will gain insight into the importance of creating a more inclusive volunteer experience, especially for marginalized identities.
