Keeping Kosher

So much of our tradition calls us to come together, as a family, and share a meal. The JCC is proud to be a home for community gathering. As part of our commitment to serving the needs of the entire community, the JCC has long prioritized making quality, kosher dining a meaningful part of our operations.

Ferrante’s CAFA B DATA
Milwaukee’s only Kosher meat cafe is open to the community.

Ferrante’s Snack Shack at the JCC Water Park
Open to JCC members early June – Labor Day

JCC Members and guests are asked not to bring outside food into our cafe and indoor play area, the Daniel M. Soref Community Hall, and the JCC Water Park.

Kosher Lunch Policy
Children enrolled in Gan Ami Early Childhood Education, Kids Center Vacation Days, JCC Rainbow Day Camp, and JCC Specialty Day Camps are asked to pack lunches that adhere to our Kosher lunch policy:

  • No pork products
  • No shellfish
  • Lunches may contain meat or dairy, but not both

Gan Ami Early Childhood Education also offers a Kosher hot lunch program for an additional fee.
