Ali Kopyt is a Managing Architect with Korb + Associates, a full-service Architecture and Interior Design firm located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ali specializes in an inclusive approach to designing experiences with a focus on adaptive reuse, historic preservation, and affordable housing projects.
In addition to her work with Korb + Associates, Ali is a co-founder of Women in Design Milwaukee, a local grassroots organization that hosts events connecting, empowering, and advocating for women’s opportunities, leadership, and success. She continues to be part of the Women in Design leadership team.
Ali earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She also earned Masters of Architecture and Masters of Urban Planning degrees from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. She is an AmeriCorps alumnus, a graduate of the Future Milwaukee Program, and was honored to be selected as one of Next City’s Vanguards, recognizing rising urban innovators.
Ali is originally from Pennsylvania, but has called Milwaukee home since 2005. She lives with her daughters in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Milwaukee.
