Tapestry: Ideas

Has there ever been a bigger conflict of American ideas than our national experience during the Vietnam War? At the center of this generation-defining 1960s clash was our own Madison, Wisconsin. Together we will focus on the anti-war movement and its Jewish leaders, as we welcome the University of Wisconsin Center for Jewish Studies’ Greenfield Summer Institute as they kick off their new “Greenfield East” here at the JCC. Then, we continue our commitment to political ideas and conversations as we explore the American Presidency through the eyes of Milwaukee’s leading political science professors and scholars. Join us as we bring the theater of politics into the context of our lives through film, literature, and dialogue. Click here for the Tapestry Spring 2014 Brochure.
