T-shirt Design Contest for Yom HaAtzmaut: Israel Independence Day

Aspiring artists in 8th -12th grade are encouraged to submit a design for the Milwaukee Jewish Federation and the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center T-shirt contest for Yom HaAtzmaut 2015.

Designs must address the theme of this year’s celebration: “How Israel Makes the World Better.” Designs must be a black-only line drawing so that Yom HaAtzmaut participants can color in their shirt, and should measure 12 inches by 12 inches.

Send questions and submissions to Zabrina Tamarkin. Submissions must be a high resolution PDF or JPEG, and include name, age, school and contact information. Deadline for submission is March 6.

Designs will be posted anonymously to MilwaukeeJewish.org throughout the competition and community members will have the opportunity to vote for a favorite. Votes will be tallied March 30 and the winning design announced April 3.

The T-shirts for this contest have been generously donated by Ink to the People.
