Parents of small children know that stories are for more than just bedtime. The wonderful habit of ending your child’s busy day by reading together inspired this popular national program funded in part through the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. The PJ Library offers free, high-quality Jewish books and music each month to children ages 6 months through 5 years all across North America.
We are proud that the JCC is able to offer this program to the Milwaukee Jewish Community. In addition to the books send home each month, we make PJ Library come to life. We offer a monthly story time, books to check out in the Reading Room and monthly programs and activities such as a trip to the Milwaukee Public Library, a Shabbat picnic at Klode Park, PJ Library book swap at Red Mango, and Lego Menorah making.
