PJ Library
All Ages Harry & Rose Samson Family JCCBRING JEWISH STORIES HOME
PJ Library is open to families raising children with Judaism as part of their lives. Powered by the non-profit Harold Grinspoon Foundation, PJ Library connects families to Jewish values, traditions, and culture, while building vibrant Jewish communities.
Program Benefits
Each month, PJ Library sends free, high-quality Jewish children’s books to families with children from birth to 8 years old. Older readers ages 9-12 get to choose their own book each month as part of PJ Our Way.
PJ Our Way is a free program that provides Jewish-themed books to children ages 9–12 in the United States and Canada. The program is part of PJ Library and is designed to be kid-driven, allowing children to select their own books based on their interests and reading levels. Each month, children can choose one of four books from a selection that includes fantasy, historical fiction, mysteries, biographies, and graphic novels.
Is your child interested in becoming a part of the PJ Our Way Student Advisory Board? Have them fill out our interest form here.
PJ Library doesn’t stop at books; we offer an abundance of family programs year-round. Whether it’s outdoor summer concerts, Shabbat dinners, or crafting Lego seder plates, PJ Library families find plenty of ways to connect.
In addition to large group events, PJ Library has helped curate smaller friend group cohorts to find their own Jewish connections through a “Shabbat Among Friends” program.
