Explore books that spark conversation, challenge ideas, and sometimes… get banned! This program is presented in partnership with the Milwaukee Jewish Federation.

The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
Tuesday, September 16 • 1:00 PM or 7:00 PM
A classic coming-of-age novel that follows teenage Holden Caulfield as he navigates alienation, identity, and rebellion in postwar America. Frequently banned for its language and themes, it remains a powerful exploration of adolescent angst.
