On October 7, 2023, Hamas carried out a devastating attack on Israel that claimed lives, shattered families, and shook communities everywhere. Two years later, we carry both the weight of our sorrow and the strength of our unbreakable spirit. This year’s commemoration invites us to gather in remembrance, explore reconciliation through music, poetry, storytelling, text study, and meditation, and finally unite in the Community Hall to share, heal, and affirm the resilience of the Jewish people. Join Jewish Milwaukee for an afternoon of hope, unity, and reflection as we remember, support one another, and look forward with courage—in Israel, Milwaukee, and beyond.
