Program Benefits

With over 3,000 teens competing each summer, the JCC Maccabi Games is one of the largest organized sports programs for Jewish teens in the world.

The JCC Maccabi Games offers Olympic-style sports competitions, including opening and closing ceremonies; travel; community service; social and cultural events; and opportunities to make friends and memories to last a lifetime.

Our delegation has a proud tradition of competing, and most recently hosted the JCC Maccabi Games in 2015.

Over the years, our athletes have competed in a wide variety of sports like swimming, basketball, ice hockey, tennis, and more.

Experience the magic of JCC Maccabi. Find out how you can join our Wisconsin delegation and represent our community in Israel, Detroit, or Houston in Summer 2024.

The JCC Maccabi Games has a housing model consisting of athletes staying with local host families. Many past participants have said that the host families are one of their favorite parts of the experience. Host families are background checked, screened, and required to attend a mandatory orientation. We are very grateful to these host families as they serve as interim parents for the week transporting the teens to and from JCC Maccabi, provide breakfast, laundry, and give your teen an unforgettable home hospitality experience. Many teens will stay in touch with host families for years to come!
