Jonah began his tenure at the Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC in early 2023. He works closely with the senior leaders on his team to deliver high-quality community impact through youth and family programs, camps, arts and culture, aquatics, disability inclusion, and community services.

Prior to joining our staff family, Jonah served as CEO of the JCC in York, PA, after previously spending 20+ years working professionally in Jewish camping and retreat centers. Originally from Pittsburgh, Jonah earned degrees in Journalism, Jewish Studies, and Hebrew from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is a graduate of Jewish Community Center Association’s Executive Director Training Program, The Wexner Foundation’s Field Fellowship, and Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership.

Jonah is married to Jennifer Noparstak and is the father of three children, Ari, Ezra, and Lea.
