Join us as we honor the legacies of fallen Israeli soldiers through a special exhibit in the Surlow Promenade.
With Spring Comes the Kalaniot Exhibit
In Israel, springtime is marked by the blooming of the kalaniot – the iconic bright red poppy-like flower that symbolizes the nation’s spirit. Despite the optimism of spring, there’s still a lingering sorrow as hostages remain separated from their loved ones and Israel remains at war.
In collaboration with the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, the JCC presents an exhibition that pays tribute to the legacies of fallen Israeli soldiers. Join us for a FREE exhibition designed for the community to meet the local artists behind each piece created based on a soldier’s biography of their choosing.
