Kick off Event for Period Poverty Awareness
Join us at the Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC for Let It Flow: A Period Party with Milwaukee Diaper Mission—a meaningful, hands-on volunteering afternoon dedicated to dignity, access, and community care.
As one of Milwaukee Diaper Mission’s original five partners, we’re proud to come together to support their vital period product program and help ensure that everyone has access to essential menstrual supplies.
This interactive event will include:
- A volunteer project packing period product kits for local distribution
- Creative, hands-on activities for all ages
- Brief remarks highlighting the impact of this work and our shared commitment to community care

Period Product Drive
🗓 May 1–15
Drop off donations at any J entrance and help support menstruators across Milwaukee.
Why it matters:
- 2 in 5 menstruators have struggled to afford period products in the past year
- 1 in 3 low-income women have missed school or work due to lack of access
- Federal assistance programs do not cover period products
Together, we can help ensure our community members have the resources they need to stay healthy, confident, and supported.
