All genders and ages can enjoy the benefits of Pilates. It has many physical benefits, including increased core strength, improved flexibility, better posture, improved joint mobility, and enhanced muscular endurance.
Program Benefits
JCC Pilates instructors and trainers have completed specialized training to deliver classical and contemporary classes and to work with clients one-on-one or in groups.

Each 50-minute class focuses on the basic principles of alignment and overall body awareness. Modifications and variations are offered for both safety and challenge so everyone can comfortably participate. From novices to advanced practitioners, classically trained or a fan of contemporary options, the JCC has a class for everyone.

JCC Members can book private and semi-private Pilates Reformer lessons with our certified trainers at their convenience. Beginners must take three 50-minute private sessions to learn the terminology and standard elements before joining intermediate level Reformer classes on the schedule.

Mat Pilates is offered as a session-based class open for both JCC member and community registration. Barre classes are part of our Group Exercise offerings and are free for current JCC members to attend.
