Karen Faust

Karen holds a National Director Credential from The McCormick Center for Early Childhood Education Leadership at National Louis University. She graduated with a degree in Sociology and Social Work with a minor in religious studies from Cardinal Stritch University. She has also completed master level coursework in Special Education at Lakeland University. She began working at the JCC in 1997 and was a part of the leadership team which began us on our journey for JECEI accreditation. After taking some time to work in special education and counseling, she returned in 2013 because she discovered early childhood was her passion. She loves watching children make new connections and scaffold their learning. She enjoys coaching educators so they will continue to grow as the early childhood profession advances. She loves to sing and can make up a song for almost anything.
