Welcome to TAPESTRY: Tapestry is the JCC Arts and Ideas initiative, now in its third year. “Why the arts?” you might ask. The arts bring meaning, elevate knowledge, speak to our hearts, strengthen Jewish identity and identity in general, channel our memories, speak to our values, and help us discover the wonders of the universe. Tapestry is at the center of our JCC mission to enrich the quality of Jewish life in Milwaukee.







A Conversation with Rev. Bernice King and Prof. Susannah Heschel - Sunday, March 4th.

Heschel's father, Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel marched with King's father, the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and was his partner in civil rights activism in the sixties. King and Heschel will examine their fathers' legacies as well as the current state of Jewish/African-American interaction. 



Travel with KOACH on Wednesday, March 7th.
Food& Culture with a Passover twist. 
Visit Evanston's newest museum -The Halim Time & Glass Museum 
which showcases magnificent collections of time pieces and stained glass.
Lunch at the famous Psistaria, known for their traditional Greek cuisine.
Shop at Jewel in Evanston, Home of Everything Passover!
9:30AM - Depart from Brown Deer Park & Ride
6:30PM - Return to Park & Ride
$85/person includes lunch & shopping bag
