Jonah began his tenure at the Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC in 2023 and oversees the facilitation of high-quality community impact through early childhood education, youth & family programs, summer camps, arts & culture programs, disability inclusion initiatives, aquatics, and the JCC’s food pantry.
Prior to joining the JCC’s staff family, Jonah served as CEO of the JCC in York, PA, which followed 20+ years working professionally in the Jewish camp and retreat center industry. Originally from Pittsburgh, he earned degrees in Journalism, Jewish Studies, and Hebrew from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Jonah is a graduate of Jewish Community Center Association’s Executive Director Training Program, The Wexner Foundation’s Field Fellowship, and Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership.
Jonah is married to Jennifer Noparstak and is the father of three children – Ari, Ezra, and Lea.
