Gesher Adult Day Program
Adults 18+ JCC West Entrance, Whitefish Bay
Build independence
Formerly known as Wellness 360, the JCC’s new, State-licensed Gesher program is a group wellness program designed for adults with disabilities to learn skills & habits that build independence. Participants work on wellness skills like independent exercise, mindfulness, and hygiene, and practical skills like money handling, paying bills, and more.
Program Benefits
Gesher means “bridge” in Hebrew. This new program serves as a next step after high school transition programs and serves as a bridge to opportunities, friendships, and greater community involvement.

Gesher participants work as a group and independently to learn and refine skills that lead to a healthy, independent lifestyle. Common skills include hygiene, establishing a fitness routine, goal setting, centering the mind, and how to navigate complex emotions.

Gesher participants have access to the Habush Family Fitness Floor and other JCC exercise spaces throughout the week. They can choose from a variety of exercises, ranging from cardio to weightlifting, and also participate in regular yoga classes.
